|An exclusive northwest based developer turned to MRM to provide a solution that involved setting up the management company and reviewing the services to be provided for one of it’s new developments. The process involved liasing with the solicitor acting for the developer during the lease drafting stage to avoid financial and legal problems for the development after completion.
| MRM were instructed by a developer to establish service charge arrangements and maintenance schedules across a portfolio of its developments, which were at various stages of the development cycle. We agreed the level of service charge through open communication with the leaseholders including significant void contributions from the developer. MRM also acted as a facilitator between the developer and residents in resolving various snagging and Health & Safety issues prior to the handover of the various management companies to the leaseholders.
A National Developer engaged MRM to act as its agent in resolving a number of issues affecting commercial leaseholders and tenants within a mixed use development. MRM arranged various expert reports and held discussions with all parties to include, the developer, commercial leaseholders, commercial tenants and the NHBC to arrive at an acceptable solution. The various matters were resolved without the need for costly legal action to all parties and resulted in costs savings to the Management Company in the region of £80K.
